Lisa and Scott tied the knot at one of my favorite wedding venues in Georgia – Dunaway Gardens. This venue is so stunning as it really is like being in a fairy tale garden land. You’re surrounded by trees and flowers and little ponds everywhere you go. This venue is so beautifully designed and laid out as the greenery leads you through the property. Lisa got ready in a cute little white cottage where they had their first look. The first look was the first time they saw each other on their wedding day. Lisa’s Mom and sister were observing the sweet moment unfold from a distance on the cottage’s porch.
There are multiple locations to have your ceremony at Dunaway Gardens wedding venue and I love the location that they went with. It is a unique way to have your guests encircle you as you say your vows. They didn’t have a large wedding so the platform made it feel very intimate which was important to them. Lisa and her Dad walked down stone steps that circled around the theater style rows to lead her to her now husband Scott. They were married by one of their closest friends who officiated their ceremony. Their vows were so personal, tender and unique that I’m positive there wasn’t a dry eye in sight – including myself!
Their event was planned by the amazing In An Instant Events who organized an effortless day even despite a little rain. Moonflower Design made Lisa’s unique and beautifully eclectic wedding bouquet. After their ceremony, they cut the cake and danced under the trees and twinkle lights. Truly a romantic day.
