Considering the Atlanta Botanical Garden for your wedding? Check it out here!
Sarah and Brad had so many incredible vendors for their Atlanta Botanical Garden Jewish wedding! Amanda Jewel Floral Design did an incredible job with their creative flower arrangements. Pearl and Sky Events planned everything flawlessly.
Sarah wore a boho inspired beaded wedding dress for her botanical garden Jewish wedding. She wanted something flowy and elegant and she found the perfect dress for the job! They saw each other for the first time that day in the Japanese Garden. It was the perfect secluded spot to have a private moment to themselves before their ceremony. I loved that they placed their chuppah so all of their loved ones surrounded them during their Jewish wedding ceremony. It was so unique having the chuppah in the center! After their ceremony they kept the celebration going surrounded by some of the Botanical Garden’s current artwork on display. The gardens are so well maintained they didn’t need to bring in much to make it unique for their wedding, but the floral and design gave it that extra special touch with driftwood paired with the flowers. The venue is in a great central location right in midtown Atlanta so all their guests were able to stay at nearby hotels, like Loews Hotel where the couple got ready. They kept dancing all night and ended the night shortly after the horah, the traditional Jewish dance where they form a circle and the bride and groom are lifted on chairs. It’s always so lively and so fun! All of this made their wedding day perfect!

When Thomas saw Hannah for the first time, he was speechless. With her dress train fanned out, he took a moment to take a look at the bride he’d always dream of finding and marrying. It was important that their closest friends and family be with them on their wedding day. Their wedding party played a huge role in supporting them throughout the day, through their ceremony and toasts. Then when the reception started, they definitely brought the party with them. Thomas loves movies and works in media, so their table settings included movie posters from some of his favorite movies. All the groomsmen wore socks from their favorite action movies like Captain America. I am a huge fan of action and sci-fi movies like Star Wars, Harry Potter, and Captain America so I loved seeing these. Thomas’ family flew all the way from Brazil as they wouldn’t miss it for anything. Throughout the day it was important to capture their loved ones celebrating as much as it was to photograph Thomas and Hannah’s love. Greystone Estate wedding venue was the perfect location to host their dream wedding day. The reception building was beautiful and open with a lot of windows which let the perfect amount of natural light in. It overlooked a beautiful lake surrounded by rolling hills which gave us a lot of scenery for portraits of Thomas and Hannah as husband and wife.

Check out this beautiful Providence Rhode Island wedding on the blog!
Elizabeth and Jonah’s story that lead up to their Providence Rhode Island wedding is a truly sweet one. She grew up in Providence, Rhode Island and he grew up in Boston, Massachusetts. They managed to never meet until they both went to school at Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia where they fell in love. Elizabeth is a very talented illustrator and printmaker while Jonah is an equally talented animator. It’s so inspiring to watch them support each other’s creative journey through grad school and multiple moves. We became friends in the south of France where we all studied abroad one summer. It was an extra special honor to be their wedding photographer as it was important to them to have their friends involved in their wedding. In true diy wedding fashion, everyone played a role in making their vintage inspired wedding come to life. Elizabeth found her vintage peach lace wedding dress while thrifting. All of their friends traveled to Providence Rhode Island for their wedding. Elizabeth found and dried all the flowers herself!
They got married at Fort Getty State Park in Providence, Rhode Island. It is a beautiful outdoor space right on the water with a pavilion for the reception. They rented a nearby Airbnb for getting ready and to stay during their wedding weekend. The day after their wedding they showed me around and we took some more portraits of the newlyweds! New England makes for gorgeous scenery to have your wedding! I loved traveling here for theirs and want to go back!
Their rings are made by Melanie Casey Jewelry.
